More than, 5,000 Rohingya refugees are reportedly living in abysmal conditions in the so-called  “no man’s land” near the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh, lacking basic living facilities while the monsoon season poses its own threat. Monsoon rains have worsened the living conditions of the refugees and have caused serious delays in traffic flow and blocked access to refugee camps.
