Two of Tunisia’s political outsiders have been chosen to contest the country’s presidential run-off on Sunday (Oct. 13th ). Nabil Karoui, a media mogul who was arrested in August on charges of money-laundering and tax fraud, contested the election from a jail cell, will go head-to-head with retired law Professor, Kais Saied.
