The United Nations Environment Assembly convened in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss measures aiming at zero-pollution. More than 4 000 people from over 100 countries are attending the summit, including heads of state, cabinet ministers, U.N. officials, business community and NGOs. The three-day meeting is themed “towards a pollution-free planet” and is expected to finalise a global declaration on combating pollution which threatens human lives, economies and ecosystems.
