At least 4 000 migrants, including women with new born babies and unaccompanied children are struggling to make ends meet in the Libyan city of Sabratha, the most likely point of departure for mostly migrants from sub-Saharan Africa trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea  by boat from Libya. According to the United Nations and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), three weeks of fighting among rival factions in Sabratha left at least 43 dead and 340 wounded.
