Hundreds of Jordanians continued to protest near the Prime Ministry in Amman today against the new income tax law and called for the government to step down. Jordan’s King Abdullah was expected to ask Prime Minister, Hani Mulki to resign in a bid to dampen widespread anger over economic policies that have sparked the largest protests in several years. Unions from the public and private sectors have also called for a general strike on Wednesday
