The United Nations Secretary General, ANTONNIO GUTERRES has accepted the resignation of the U.N’s Environment Executive Director, Erik Solheim after receiving a final audit of his official travel. According to the audit, Solheim travelled 529 days out of the 668 days audited, spending over 488,000 dollars with no regard for the rules. The U.N. Environment programme aims to set the global environmental agenda through leadership and partnerships.
