More than 6 000  Rohingya Muslim refugees are reportedly stuck at the border unable to go home to Myanmar and unwilling to cross the muddy stream to Bangladesh to live in refugee camps. Myanmar has built a fence on its side of the border to prevent them from going back to their villages that lie in ruins after they were destroyed by the violent crackdown of August 25. Bangladesh and Myanmar are due to discuss how to repatriate the more than 600 000 Rohingya refugees living in refugee camps.
