The Zondo Commission heard testimony from three witnesses whose identities have been concealed for their protection. Testimony from witness 2 was given that Former Transnet chief executive Siyabonga Gama was allegedly a regular visitor to the Gupta's Saxonwold residence and reportedly left with a suitcase filled with cash, two more witnesses took the stand at the inquiry who were identified as Witness 1 and Witness 3. Witness 3 protected and drove former public enterprise minister Malusi Gigaba. In his testimony he recalled driving Gigaba to the Gupta residence on several occasions where Gigaba would allegedly sometimes emerge from the residence with a bag filled with cash. The witness also said that Gigaba allegedly purchased suits and paid for food using cash bills.
